Farzana Shaikh Habibbhai, a student of Hair and Skin Care Trade at ITI Thaltej, participated and won six prizes with second rank in Henna Design Competition which was held on 6th january at karnavati club by Gruh Shobha Magazine. |

A historical milestone has been reached, as the number of women students enrolled in higher education globally (77.4 million) has crossed the number of men (75 million). These figures emerged from the recently released UNESCO report titled Global Education Digest 2009. Does that mean women have finally achieved emancipation? Such a conclusion would have to await evidence that there are as many women as men in powerful positions in government, legislatures or company boardrooms. We haven’t gotten there yet, but we are on the way. |
